“Neon Sky” feels bold, bright, and a bit mystical. It brings personality and a pop of color to whatever room it’s in. When I started painting this piece I knew I wanted to use my brightest paints against a dark background, but didn’t have a clear idea of where it was going. In the end, it became one of my favorite pieces to paint. It represents tapping into an imagination as powerful as we had as children. Kids live simply, and dream big. We have so much to learn from them.
